Conservatives thank Prince Charles for putting the environment at the centre of political debate

The Prince of Wales is tomorrow visiting the European Parliament to address the Temporary Committee on Climate Change. The Prince will be highlighting the dangers of global warming, as well as suggesting ways in which the EU might work together to try to combat its effects.

Giles Chichester MEP, Conservative Leader in the European Parliament, President of the European Energy Forum and a senior member of the Committee, says:

"His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales has constantly championed important environmental campaigns, highlighting key issues such as climate change. We Conservatives welcome his vision of a cleaner, better world, and we urge all political parties to work together to deliver it."
