Brussels, March 22 2007 -- Conservatives in the European Parliament have managed to overturn the one-size-fits-all roaming charge proposal supported by Labour. Instead, Malcolm Harbour MEP, Conservative Single Market Spokesman, has persuaded the European Parliament to favour a consumer-friendly opt-in tariff providing choice based on full information, a maximum price guarantee and dramatic price-reductions in all cases.
