A laptop for every child aged between 6 and 12 allowing them to network and learn is the aim of a revolutionary and very ambitious initiative which was launched today by Nirj Deva MEP, Conservative Development Spokesman in the European Parliament.

Sponsoring a joint declaration of the European Parliament, Nirj Deva MEP, Conservative International Development Spokesman, has called on the European Commission to guarantee election observers attend the Pakistan elections in January 2008 only if martial law is lifted.
