Strasbourg, 19th June 2007 -- An EU-wide ban on dog and cat fur imports received unanimous approval from the European Parliament in Strasbourg today (Tuesday).

Strasbourg, 19th June -- In a debate today on Palestine in the European Parliament, Dr Charles Tannock MEP, Conservative Foreign Affairs Spokesman, stated that Hamas has been exposed as a terrorist organisation, that Iran will now have a threatening foothold north and south of Israel and that full funding must be restored to the secular President Abbas.

Strasbourg, 18th June 2007 -- An EU-wide ban on cat and dog fur imports, which will be approved at the European Parliament in Strasbourg this week, is predicted to save the lives of more than two million cats and dogs every year in China.
